As noted at Harper’s, the BP disaster in the Gulf of Mexico is an everyday occurrence in the Niger Delta, where indigenous inhabitants cannot fish, farm, or breathe as a result of toxic dumping by Shell and BP.

Chief George Manuel Memorial Indigenous Library
