Trust Lands Cold War

Judge David Avraham Voluck, Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, and Sarah Deer discuss the need to end the State of Alaska’s opposition to Alaska Native tribal self-government. Recently struck down by the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. is the U.S. Department of Interior ‘Alaska exclusion rule’ as illegal and discriminatory.

The State of Alaska has appealed the decision.

Chief George Manuel Memorial Indigenous Library
