Statement on the 'Wake up Igbo Lions' protest in London
Please be encouraged- we sense a tide of change: the Igbo lion is wakening and nothing will stop Biafra. As we go to our next phaze more and more of our brothers are joining us with joy and passion.
We promised the consulate when we delivered the letter that, if nothing happens- if the killing and detention carrys on and our blessed MASSOB leader is not released, we will be back with hundreds and then thousands. This we can do because we have brothers here, especially Ike, Okechukwu and Uche who would stop at nothing for Biafra and many other serious Biafrans have recently joined us.
Programme of action
To reach new supporters we walk the streets of London carrying the flag and material to show people what is happening and playing the anthem and Biafran songs. Our programme includes:
Action canvassing/demonstration at Thamesmead on Saturday, 14th Oct at 12md
Action canvassing/demonstration at Plumstead and Lewisham on Saturday, 21st Oct at 12md
Action canvassing/demonstration at Dalston on Saturday, 28th Oct at 12md
The next major protest will be at the Nigerian embassy on Friday, 3rd November at 1.30pm and this time we will be peaceful but more sensational to guarantee media coverage.
Shortly after this there will be a hunger strike in open air, in a position overlooking the embassy.
We especially need massive support for the big protest on 3rd November at 1.30 pm and so if anyone has friends or family please encourage them to join us. There is no danger of arrest or trouble - the police support and protect us and the embassy officials fear us (for some reason- maybe its the guilt of what they are doing and the guilt of the past genocide).
By the way sorry for the delay in sending the photos but brother Ike's camera was ruined in the rain. We lost many photos but we have some attached that includes the culmination of the protest when we flew the Biafran flag at the embassy. This felt very good but is only a taste of things to come!
Biafra is inevtiable, soon!
God bless and greetings from your brethren in London.

|Wake up Igbo lions. Wake up to the reality. There has not been a better chance for us to actualize Biafra than now. We have been wandering in the wilderness for long but thank God now we have a committed leadership that will propagate our fight. We in the Biafra Liberation League are working side by side with the Biafra Foundation and other Igbo/Biafra organizations to bring our aspirations to reality. We donít intent to create duplicity of organizations but that of strategies. Biafra Liberation League (BLL) organized the London protest. We are rolling out a lot of programs and strategies to this feat. We need Igbo lions to wake up and come out for Biafra. Biafra needs us to get active now better than ever.

Something good will be happening in your neighbourhood soon. Biafra Lives forever.
|i wish to express my special thanks to all who participated actively in carrying the biafran flag and awareness high in london where we supposed to have strong base in this struggle cos they are our colonial masters. Quite unfortunately, we have not seen much zeal from the london biafran until these few individuals took the bull by the horn to break the
iceberge. may this be a challlange and motivation for all others who are still sleeping and making arm chair fantasy of realising
biafra. pressure for biafra must come more from our people that are leaving outside Africa cos there has not been true democracy in
africa. it has always been easy for obasanjo to manipulate african leaders against biafran agitators and some have been arrest in some west coast and flown to abuja on abasanjo's request in the past, yet umunna are not perturbed here. how much more our people in the highly civilised and democrtised world. i still want to know what is essence of leaving if not to leave a legacy for the upcoming generation. am always speachless when i see the arabians in europe and other advanced world making pround of their course in public yet our people keep contampulating whether biafra will still be a reality. many of the international organisations and governments have consistently made it clear that nigeria is a failed state and may no longer be to longer from
wao why would it no. a country with leaders who are cheats, dominators, crooks,
thiefs, oppressors, looters, immorals, callous, inordinate greedy, gluttons, slave drivers, colonizers, senseless,
cerenity, marginalizers, tribalistic, nepotistic, gang stars, favouratives etc, a country where one uses state fund to own hundreds of unoccupied buildings yet another sleeps in slump or under bridges. a country where one uses looted state funds to waste in father and mother burials, childs birthday celebration, girlfriend's birthday celebration etc and another citizen of the same country eats one unbalanced meal a day if at the meal could be obtained. a country where one uses tax payers money to send their children, relatives and girlfriends to the most expensive schools at home and abroad while the children of the common man's children manage to attend a school that their zinc or roofs are sheds from trees and even in this local schools pupils and scholars are left at the mercy of teachers with many months of unpaid salaries who will now task the poor school children to donate fund for one thing or the order whereas the fund is primarily for the up keep of the unpaid teachers. the leaders budget huge funds for road constructions but never executed the projects, they launder the funds in their private bank accounts abroads and choose to fly with planes, thank God the air is no longer safe in
nigeria. these are just to mention but a few. what again could be the attribute of a failed state brothers and sisters?
Maybe we are waiting for the external bodies who have so far predicted the collapse of nigeria to cause the fall by themselves. but this can not be.
The earlier we put our house in order the better for us. may God give us understanding
special regards to all who did well in the protest
I just feel like jumping up on my feet, thumping my fist in the air in celebration, and
leaving it there for 24 hours! At home here, it is great joy to realise that we are not left alone in
this struggle, and that the heat has started coming to the wicked Fharaoh from abroad. Keep it up. GAd is
with us, and Biafra is winning.
