The largest uranium-ore reserves are found in the United States, Australia, Canada, Namibia, South Africa, and Niger. About one tenth of known United States uranium reserves are found on Indian reservation lands. The largest know United States deposit, the Grants Meneral Belt lies partly under th Navajo, Acoma and Laguna Indian Reservations.
