This report, prepared jointly by the Mulokot Foundation, the Association of Village Leaders Suriname, and Cultural Survival, provides first hand information on rights violations in the Indigenous territories of Suriname. In doing so, it cites several articles from UNDRIP and ICESCR articles. It concludes with several policy recommendations, including the drafting of laws, the implementation of the Minamata Convention (mining bans in indigenous territories), and consideration of specific provisions for education and healthcare.
