Global Civil Society Statement Urging Arms Embargo on Myanmar

This document, authored by the International Working Group for Indigneous Affairs and signed by over 100 human rights organizations, calls on the United Nations Security Council to place an immediate arms embargo on the state of Myanmar. The document discusses the ongoing violence perpetrated by the military junta upon indigenous and ethnic minority communities in Myanmar – particularly the Rohingya.
