This paper addresses this land decree law 2568 as a death certificate to the Mapuche people of Chile. Consequences of the law include human rights violations toward the Mapuche people. This law was passed by the Pinochet Government as an effort to replace the socalist economic model of the previos government but it has caused more harm than good.
