Tragedy Strikes at the Heart of the Indigenous Struggle in Nicaragua

The General Coordinator of the MISURASATA gives an account of the ongoing struggle in Central America. There is a brief account of the history of the Indigenous people and how the dominant people of the land has taken their territory and culture away from them. The native people are struggling to keep their ethnicity and culture intact but it is difficult. Governments of the are are assimilating all natives into one group creating genocide and ethnocide.
