In the seven years since it was launched at the 1988 Multiple Use Strategy in Reno, the “Wise Use” Movement has developes into a powerful social and political force. Today, the impact of the Movement in the electoral and policy arenas is disputable. To achieve its current level of influence, the Movement has utilized grassroots organizing, public realtions, and electoral strategies.
