This report, authored by the Auditor General of Canada for the Canadian Parliament, details an audit conducted to determine whether Indigenous Services Canada provided adequate support to First Nations communities to ensure that they have access to safe drinking water. It was found that Indigenous Services Canada did not provide the support necessary to ensure that First Nations communities have ongoing access to safe drinking water, and that decade-long advisories related to such issues remained constant for many communities.
