Entitled “Trail of Broken Treaties: For Renewal of Contracts — Reconstruction of Indian Communities and Securing an Indian Future in America” the points, here reprinted in their entirety, represent a culmination of efforts of the Caravan Workshop, conducted in St Paul, Minnesota, the week ending October 27, 1972. The effort reflected recommendations of Caravan participants, Indian authors, Tribal leaders, and Indian individuals who had offered such recommendations prior to the formation of the Trail of Broken Treaties Native Quest For Justice. Principle coordinator of the recommendations was Hank Adams, Assiniboine Sioux who composed the final draft that follows.
