Clayoquot Sound, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, is an area of deep-green ancient forests, snow-capped mountains, long sandy beaches, and small rugged islands shaped by the pounding surf of the Pacific.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
