Emerging Genocide in Nigeria
What is now rapidly unfolding in Southeastern Nigeria is the intentional and widespread murder of Igbo people, both men and women, that mimics the early stages of ethnic cleansings in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo and the Darfur in Sudan. Government sanctioned killings of Igbo peoples are developing into a form of genocide.
The Government of Nigeria has instituted a shoot-to-kill policy in the city of Onitsha; specifically those who are members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) by the Security Forces of the Nigerian Government. Nigerian Government officials have recruited and deployed individuals to masquerade as MASSOB supporters and then encouraged them to commit violence against property and individuals. They are working to undermine the credibility of the Biafran Nation, which seeks a non-violent political transformation of the Southeastern region. Such tactics have given security forces and police justification to attack and kill non-violent MASSOB supporters, which is now occurring with impunity.
Members of the Biafran Nation and of MASSOB are non-violent and have always followed such tenets. It is expected that such violence and murder will escalate to surrounding states within Igbo land in the next days and weeks if international attention is not made.

I am writing to express my grave concern about the violent attacks by Nigerian government forces on individuals associated with the non-violent Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) in Southeastern Nigeria. Due to the escalading violent attacks against the Igbo community, I urge you to form a mediation commission to facilitate peaceful negotiations between the Government of Nigeria and MASSOB. The killing of innocent men and women needs to stop and Governments must now help promote a peaceful resolution of political differences instead of violent ends. I thank you for your consideration.

Whether you are for or against MASSOB for whatever your reasons might be, what stands out clearly is that the people being massacred by OBJís Nigerian Police Force are Igbo sons and daughters. The saddest aspect is that Igbo political leaders both at the states and national levels do not have the gonads to condemn the current wave of genocide against their own! sons and daughters, brother and sisters. How awful and disgraceful.
MASSOB is a non-violent political pressure group; compared to the violent activities of OPC, Egbesu, Niger Delta Force that has been taking oil workers hostages, they do not deserve to be killed like dogs. Most pitiful and pathetic is the fact that no Igbo leader is raising a finger in condemnation of this horrible massacre. I doubt that Nigeria would not be in turmoil, if members of OPC were massacred by the Nigerian Police Force as is the case with MASSOB members.
As ugly and condemnable as the killing of unarmed MASSOB members is, what about others who are not members of MASSOB that are also being killed? I call on the leadership of various Igbo Diaspora organizations, especially, WIC to rise to the occasion by way of Press Release in total, absolute and unequivocal condemnation of the current wave of genocide against unarmed and defenseless Igbo youths by the Nigerian Police Force. Please the time is now.
It shall be well for Ala Igbo, in spite of all the odds.

Nigeria goverment has a pure haterate for igbos and has a complete plan to eliminate Biafran people from existence, they have been doing this since 1966 till date. of which in a recent year they invaded a town called Odi, in a single attack clear about 3000 men and rape the women.
I want to tell you that those pictures posted in you website are true life picture and the acts are daily been more committing here in onitcha are other Biafra land area by Nigeria evil forces,

I am an Ibo in Nigeria. I was a boy in Primary School at the outbreak of the Nigerian-Biafran civil war. After the war, I went through schools and universities in hardships and much suffering. I did not get any employment after graduation as only a few Ibos were fortunate to be employed. But I set up my professional practice by faith and without money. Today, by the grace of God and through hardwork, I am an established tripartite professional practising as Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Chartered Estate Surveyor & Valuer, and a Pastor. However, I am not a happy man because of the sufferings and killing of Ibos in Nigeria as I cannot bear the agony in their suffering and dying souls.
I have a calling towards the Ibos, but I need much knowledge and wisdom. Please, furnish me with every book and information that will enlighten me on the following issues:
(a) The origin, history, indigenous peoples and places now referred to as Igboland in Nigeria.
(b) The origin and history of the word and region of \"BIAFRA\" which had been existing in ancient map of the world before Nigeria came into existence.
(c) The particular language and people in the world from where the Ibos derived the Igbo language and customs.
(d) Any anthropological or sociological study on the indigenous peoples of the Gulf of Guinea that may throw light on their roots.

In the same way, I would like our people to find a place in their hearts to forgive the Obi of Onitsha, the embattled traditional ruler of the commecial city; and Obi the governor of the state. These two, you know are in bondage-the traditional ruler would not tell the truth since his throne is in contention, or they (the government) would give it to his adversary.
For Obi, the governor, he is a man with many businesses who dare not mis-behave or the Nigerian govenment would destroy his businesses as they did to Jim Nwobodo.

car everywhere got scarted and they carried him to a nearby school and flee him with the chopper men where rushing his car to see if he was there but he
was gone and carried by the chopper, in the evening thats when we stated that THIS IS MY LAST VISIT TO EAST.
I want to let every ibo to be strong and wake up is time to ride on whosoever that want to grab from you. The world knows
this,Usa,Israel,Europeans knows this,UN know this, they all know what we are passing through they using dialogue but that wont help. Theres no game for

my name is ... , i am from abia state and i ran away from nigeria because the nigeria police called operation fire for fire killed my father because he was suspected to be a MASSOB member. He join in fighting the Great Biafra war and he lost a hand to the war . they took him on his way to okigwe , imo state and kept him in prison until he died there and then i was attending abia state university and so they came to my house while i went to see a friend to arrest me because they believe i am also a MASSOB member, so they took all my photogragh and my identity and they left a note asking me to report myself at the station but i had no choice order than to run for my life because i dont want what happened to my father to happen to me and so i ran to hong kong to make the world know how i have been misstreated by the nigerian government.
i believe in BIAFRA, i believe in MASSOB, and i believe we are not a part of nigeria and we are going to have our independent in the name of our GOD whether the nigerian government like it or not. There are other biafran children in hong kong who also fled for their lives . ... We need an identity ... we are from GREAT BIAFRA. HAIL BIAFRA
Enough Is Enough. Let my people go. Biafrans is God own people. You can imagine what it means for the massacre of innocent Igbo's. Recently Nigeria Police force arrest over 100 MASSOB members. The Federal Government under Obasanjo continued detention of Chief Raph Uwazuruike [MASSOB Leader] and members picked across the nation with a sluggish trial. General Obasanjo should release Uwazuruike and others held since last year. The frequent arrest and killing of Igbo Jews should stop. Biafra. The marginalization of the Igbo has been completed. Killing and arrest can not stop Biafra.
i am one of MASSOB activists since 2000,i left Nigeria 2001 still today am still suffering, struggling to survives,i have no asylum in europe just simple because am a MASSOB,we plead to the world to help MASSOB actualise biafraland which by the grace of almighty,we will survive.i have been molested,treatened,isolated,humiliated even beaten by switzerland police and citizens even attempt to slughter me on my way home several occasions,may help come from above for the black jews of biafraland, amen
