Palestine will not have peace until America has a democracy. As long as the interlocked war, media and energy industries own Congress, the White House and the Supreme Court, Palestinians have no hope. With all the money made by American corporations fueling the civil war there, peace is not a goal, let alone an objective of the United States government. President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are both committed to guaranteeing a continuous flow of US arms to keep this industry alive and well; no change will happen on their watch.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
