In May 2009, CWIS Associate Scholar Anke Weisheit was appointed Principle Investigator (PI) for Uganda Mbarara University of Science and Technology. As PI, Anke is leading the Uganda components of the 3 country project “Innovative Approaches for Mainstreaming Integrated Natural Resource Management in Agricultural Research and Development Institutions in Eastern and Central Africa”.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
