The Dominion looks at the newly appointed Minister of Indian Affairs, John Duncan. Duncan, a former MP and long time employee of the timber industry in Canada, has a track record of aggression toward First Nations spanning decades. As several indigenous leaders recall, Duncan didn’t just help destroy their lands, he led efforts to destroy their lives.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
