Quinault President Fawn Sharp spoke before the US Senate Committee on Indian Affairs on 9 June calling for the United States to “adopt policies and enact legislation as necessary to effectuate the principles enunciated in the Declaration, particularly those relating to free, prior, and informed consent, protection of intellectual property rights.” President Sharp’s full testimony is available here.
