The World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization have just completed the Second International Conference on Nutrition (November 2014). In 22 years since the first conference no significant changes have been achieved to benefit the malnourished,vitamin deficient. 1.5 billion people are OVER FED, while the remainder experience food deficits. Most of the world’s Fourth World peoples are among the food deprived.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
