Today is Sami People’s day in Norway. Celebrating the resilience of Sami peoples, Galdu features the story of Elsa Laula Renberg, Sami activist and organizer of the first Sami convention in 1917.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
