In response to a threat by the Asian Development Bank and Nepalese government to displace them for a water project, the Hyolmo indigenous people of central Nepal have made a video documentary explaining their legal rights to Kathmandu.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
