Biafra, the reemerging nation of Igbo people and their allies seek to reclaim their political right to freely choose their own political future through nonviolent political transformation. CWIS has informed 17 states’ governments through their embassies and 5 non-governmental organization of the Center’s Board of Directors’ April 2006 Biafra Declaration decision to include Biafra in its research and education efforts.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
