Radio station WBAI Broadcasts a Forum on Indigenous Resistance to Globalization

The International Forum on Globalization (IFG) and the Tebtebba Foundation are pleased to announce a public Teach-In celebrating major milestones in the rising resistance and political power of indigenous peoples against the invasions of corporate globalization. Radio station WBAI will have special coverage of a forum on Indigenous Resistance Movements held at Cooper Union Great Hall on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 1:00-10:00 pm. Coverage will be provided by First Voices Indigenous Radio, with host Tiokasin Ghosthorse, as well as Mattie Harper, Mario Murillo and Nada Khader.

Chief George Manuel Memorial Indigenous Library

The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
