More than 2,500 representatives of the world’s 370 million indigenous people gathered in New York for the seventh session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
