In telling the story of food, Winona LaDuke discusses such topics as food security, biodiversity and climate change. Comparing industrial and indigenous nutrition, LaDuke examines human relationships with the seeds of our ancestors–what she describes as the seeds of life.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
