UNITED NATIONS, Sep 29 (IPS) – Recent contacts between Bolivian President Evo Morales and leaders of North American native groups have raised new hopes for the indigenous people of North and South America, whose 500-year-old struggle for self-determination has yet to be recognized by the world.
The library is dedicated to the memory of Secwepemc Chief George Manuel (1921-1989), to the nations of the Fourth World and to the elders and generations to come.
